Bay & Bay Transportation just raised company driver starting pay by a nickel per mile!

Eagan, MN – Bay & Bay Transportation recently announced it has increased company driver starting pay by a nickel per mile for over-the-road and regional drivers. The increase took effect July 1 and brought starting pay from 40 cents to 45 cents per mile.

This new compensation plan combines a cent per mile base pay with a cent per mile safety bonus. Not only do drivers have a higher base pay but this pay structure triples the safety bonus that drivers earned quarterly on the previous plan.

“Two of our top priorities are to be a leader in driver compensation and to be one of the safest fleets on the road,” said President Sam Anderson “We believe that paying a safety bonus right along with the miles driven to earn that bonus is an excellent way to show our drivers how much we value their hard work and safe driving”.

Factoring in the new pay increase and additional earning opportunities such as referral bonuses, Bay & Bay drivers now have significantly higher earning potential than even just a few years ago. To drive with Bay & Bay candidates must have a valid CDL-A, at least one year of OTR experience, an acceptable driving record, excellent work history and a current DOT physical.
